Her categories place production, distribution, wages, poverty and welfare in the household realm outside politics proper, so the lens has close to nothing on inequality, markets, taxation or how anybody gets fed — and treats the question itself as a category error, which is a position rather than an answer.
She was neither a historian of the Holocaust nor a lawyer, and wrote as though she were both. Her factual base for the Eichmann book was Hilberg's research and the trial record, part of which she observed and the rest of which she read; the Argentine material that changed the picture of the defendant surfaced decades after her death.
